We are thrilled to invite you to participate in our interdisciplinary conference, Midrash and Medicine: Imagining Wholeness, to be held at the gorgeous beach-front Asilomar Conference Center on the Monterey Bay Peninsula.

The Midrash and Medicine conference will highlight leadership and innovation in the healthcare and Jewish healing fields. Through the inclusion of classic and contemporary midrash, together with the expressive arts, the conference will:
  • Use midrash as an interpretive and creative process
  • Foster collaboration, exchange of learning, and best practices
  • Stimulate growth through serious text study
  • Nourish the personal and the professional
Presentations and interactive workshops will draw from scholars of midrash, health and spiritual care providers, and artists who are creatively engaged in the landscapes of illness, wholeness, and spirit.

This conference is for:
  • Mental Health Professionals
  • Chaplains
  • Rabbis
  • Cantors
  • Physicians
  • Nurses
  • Lay Leaders
  • Educators
  • Artists
  • Healthcare and
  • Communal Professionals
We sincerely hope that you will join us. Especially in these uncertain times, the conference represents an extraordinary opportunity to relax, connect with colleagues, and enjoy three days of stimulating and interdisciplinary learning.
